Top 5 comics for 4/18/07

This week is a slow week for comics but still great stuff is coming out from the big 2. The Top 5 Comics to get this week in no particular order are

1. Mighty Avengers #2 (Marvel Comics) - Brian Bendis cant do any wrong at this moment and this book coming off the heels of Civil War is a great starting point to jump in on. You can also purchase the first issue this week as well.

2. Hellblazer #231 (Vertigo Comics) - Andy Diggle Just started his run on this title last month so there is still time to jump on this new run of the series the first Issue he did was a fun enjoyable read from an Englishman. If you liked the movie this has all that and more.

3. World War 3 #1-4 (DC Comics) - This is on the heels of 52 which was a weekly comic that came out right after DC's Infinite Crisis telling the story of what happened in the lost year after that even. This is the boiling point.

4. Ultimate X-Men #81 (Marvel Comics) - This is the start of a new chapter for the X-Men in Marvels Ultimate Line. Great jumping on point for anyone who wants to give this series a try. Written by Robert Kirkman(The Walking Dead, Marvel Zombies)

5. Army at Love #2 (Vertigo Comics) - The buzz on this book is big a look into the lives of 2 people in love and in the army. I have yet to read it but I haven't heard anything bad yet.

So there you have it the top 5 for this week also to go along with these top 5 I'll throw out a couple of trade paperbacks to take a look at.
